Chris Spencer
Chris Spencer was saved at the age of 12 at the Midwest Christian Boys Football Camp. He surrendered to the call to preach at the age of fourteen at youth camp. He graduated from Bible College in 2021.
Bro. Chris and his family came on staff at Peoples Baptist Church in January 2020 to serve as Assistant Pastor. During his 4 years on staff, the Lord allowed him many opportunities to get acquainted with the people here and gain experience in the ministry as he was mentored by his Father and Pastor, James Spencer. On April 14, 2024, Peoples Baptist Church called him as the next pastor upon the passing of Pastor James Spencer. The church has continued to move forward under the leadership of Pastor Spencer.
Pastor Spencer and his wife, Lanora, were married on June 28, 2019 and have two daughters: Avery and Sydney; and one son, Henry.
