our ministries
BUS ministry
Each week our team of bus workers go out into the community and pick up children so they may come to church and learn about the Lord. The goal of our bus ministry is to get people to Jesus and see lives changed for the glory of God, and also to give our church members an opportunity to be involved in reaching our community for Christ.
Youth ministry
At Peoples Baptist Church we strive to keep our teenagers close to the Lord as well as each other. Each month we have several activities for our teenagers as well as many opportunities for them to be involved in the church. It is our prayer that as our teens grow into adulthood, that they will keep a close relationship with the Lord and continue to serve Him.
We believe that the best way to build a strong, thriving church is to have unity amongst every member of the church. The seniors ministry is vitaly important because it gives our elderly members an opportunity to fellowship and get to know one another outside of church and on a personal level.
The special needs ministry is a result of the vision of our church family to minister to our community. We pride ourselves in the ministry we offer for those who have special needs. Each Sunday our church family has an exciting event prepared for those with special needs during our morning worship service.
Each week some of our church men and ladies go up the the Richland County Jail to minister to the inmates and share the good news that Jesus saves. They strive to offer the men and ladies hope in Christ.
Music ministry
We offer many opportunities to serve the Lord through music. We have a choir ministry, special music ministry and a newly organized, small orchestra ministry. We hope to grow these ministries and allow all to honor the Lord through music.
